Certified organic vegetables in Hutchinson, Minnesota

We’re Ethan and Carly Zierke. We started Sweet Season Farm in 2022.

Before we were farmers, we were totally new to the world of eating local food.

We didn’t know when tomato season actually started. We weren’t sure how to cut up the round, spaceship-looking kohlrabi we brought home. And we definitely let a few perfectly good vegetables end up in the compost because we didn’t know what to do with them.

That’s why we built our farm to help.

If you care about cooking at home and supporting local food but want help figuring it all out, you’re in the right place.

We grow certified organic vegetables and share practical recipes and storage tips so local food feels not only doable but fun!

Our practices

Sweet Season Farm is a USDA Certified Organic and Real Organic Project certified vegetable farm in Hutchinson, Minnesota. We grow high-quality, nutrient-dense produce while stewarding the land it comes from. This is what regenerative agriculture means to us.

Where to find our produce

In 2027, you’ll be able to get our fresh produce through:

  • Our vegetable subscription (a.k.a. CSA) for Hutchinson, nearby communities, and the West Metro

  • A farmers market in Minneapolis… TBD
